Mecha Farming
Speculative Design for Grain Silos' Future
Mecha farming is a speculative design project exploring grain silos' renovation in the distant future and rethinking the users of architecture. The project is located at Pierson Station, IL, where the extinct town is sustained by agriculture. The idea is to turn it into a remote station resided with machines, robots, and drones. The project challenges the design methodology of architecture in terms of program, circulation, architectonics, and functions.
